Warwick Unitarian Chapel
High Street (opposite the Lord Leycester Hospital)
Warwick
Sunday Service: 4:30pm every Sunday
Chapel open for visitors: Friday 10:30 – 12 noon
Lunchbreak Service: Friday 1:10pm – 1:30pm
We meet for worship each Sunday afternoon. We worship informally ‘in the round’ and warmly welcome visitors. The service consists of hymns, music, silence, prayers, readings from various sources, and a sermon. We also hold regular ‘Kaleidoscope’ services where members of the congregation are invited to share readings, music, poems etc. Worship is usually conducted by our Minister and the Sunday service lasts around an hour. The ‘chapel band’ play for special services. Refreshments are served after every service.
On Friday mornings the Chapel is open for coffee and we have a short lunchtime service on Fridays.
We hold various social activities in addition to our worship services. Indoor or outdoor bowls takes place fortnightly, we have a walking group, and we hold various events which usually involve food! We also hold occasional discussion groups.
We publish a monthly newsletter detailing our various activities.
Our Chapel has been converted into a multi-purpose building. Various local and community groups use our premises. The Chapel has full disabled access, a large kitchen, and is a popular location for concerts.
Although our Chapel in on the High Street in Warwick people often fail to notice it! Be sure to visit us. We are proud of our beautiful chapel and of our liberal religious heritage.
